Hello, My name is Jan-Inge Ljungberg. I was born 1963. I live in Falsterbo in Sweden. I am a member of the board of the Human Powered Vehicles Sweden (HPVS).

I have been a recumbent rider since early 1990s. I started out with borrowing my friends M5 and Trice. It was great fun. I started to explore the world of recumbents and travelled to Cyclevision and other meetings and races to try out as many recumbents I could. One friend bought a Flevobike and we learned to ride it. It was difficult but once I could ride it I felt very regarded. After some years in the recumbentworld I met Olaf (Monty) and Dirk (Baby_python). Olaf and I tried Dirks BabyPython and we where impressed over how easy it was to ride and how ingenious it was constructed. Olaf build the Monty and that was a nice Python to ride and I like small bikes so I loved this one. I have'nt got the time and opportunities in the latest years to build one myself but suddenly a recumbentfriend was selling his Python because he lacked space to keep his growing fleet of bikes and homebuilt aeroplanes (some HPA). So now I am the owner of the Pajton.
